About Us:

Paul and Leanne Berger acquired the Symonston Tavern, Supermarket and bottle shop in May 2004 and immediately made some much needed changes including fully refurbishing the premises and giving it a new identity. The Fyshwick Tavern opened it’s doors on May 17, 2004. Hard work and experience in hospitality and retail industries has resulted in the Fyshwick Tavern becoming one of Canberra’s premier taverns. We have a fantastic culture, great staff and a great clientele.
